First Mammogram

So I am embracing my 40s with more grace than last year. A client of mine kept asking if I had my first mammogram yet and I tried to avoid answering as I hadn't gone yet. No problems with them so it wasn't a priority. That, plus I heard how horrible they can be. I finally went after she bugged me a few weeks in a row so I finally wanted her to stop it, as well as it being a good idea. It wasn't as bad as people made it out. Not that it was the most fun, but no big deal. I do feel sorry for those women who are smaller and have to be pulled etc, but no biggie for me. Those that seem to like it too much need to talk to their partners to give them more attention:). I hope my results are clear but at least I went and I encourage any of you over-40 to get it done. It's worth an early detection - especially when I just found out one of my super healthy co-workers just got diagnosed with cancer - not breast - so you never know.
